[. . . ] ^ Press to confirm. SYSTEM LOCK + on W ~ ^ Turn the jog shuttle to "on" and press to activate the system lock. The appliance is now locked and will not operate. The system will remain locked and the lighting will remain turned off even if the jog shuttles are turned. When the jog shuttles are pressed or turned the display shows: Machine is locked X Unlocking the coffee system ^ Follow the steps for "Locking the coffee system" but select "off" to deactivate the system lock. Cappuccinatore Clean the cappuccinatore after every use, otherwise it may become blocked with dried milk and hard to clean. ^ Press the spout together from the top and bottom to pull out the two pieces of the spout together. See below. ^ Take the cappuccinatore apart and clean. 40 Common coffee system care Maintenance The perforator should be changed after 15000 cups of coffee / espresso. The perforator can be purchased from Miele. It is recommended to contact the Miele Service department for assistance in performing this maintenance task. ^ Reassemble the lid as shown in the graphics. ^ Be sure that the valve sits above the cappuccinatore handle.
