Remote control
Press any remote button except Off to turn on your SoundLinkTM system. Each time you press a remote button, the front panel light for the selected source flashes briefly. Depending on the music application you are using on your computer, you can use the play/pause and skip buttons to control the music playback.
Play/Pause and skip buttons may not work for Internet radio stations or some music applications.
Press to turn off the SoundLink system. Press to play or pause the current track on your computer. Press to select your computer as a wireless source. Press to increase (+) or decrease () the volume. Press to skip to the beginning of the next track. Press to skip to the beginning of the previous track.
Note: This remote does not control any device plugged into the
AUDIO IN connector.

SoundLinkTM speaker volume controls
Touch-sensitive volume controls are located on the right side of the SoundLinkTM speaker. These raise and lower the SoundLink system volume in the same way as the remote control volume buttons.
Adding another music source
You can use another audio device, such as a portable digital music player, with your SoundLink system. This requires using a stereo audio cable (not provided) that is appropriate for the connected audio device and has a 3. 5mm mini plug on the end that plugs into the AUDIO IN connector on the SoundLink system. Plug the cable from the audio device into the AUDIO IN connector on the back of the SoundLink speaker. Set the connected device to full volume, then use the SoundLink system volume buttons to adjust the level.

Operating on battery power
A fully charged battery provides approximately three hours of use if the SoundLinkTM system is set to maximum volume. However, the rate of battery discharge varies with the type of music played and the volume setting. [. . . ] Increase the volume level on the device. Increase the SoundLink system volume.
I cannot hear music from the AUX source.
Poor reception, or audio is dropping out
