Insert the power plug into a 230/240 volt power outlet and then turn the power on. Place 1 slice of bread or 1 crumpet or half an English muffin only into each of the toasting slots. Ensure the bread slices or crumpets or English muffin halves are not too large or too thick to fit in the toasting slots The toasting process can be stopped at any time by pressing the `TOAST/CANCEL' button located on the top of the toaster. Take care not to damage the elements. 2 slice electronic toaster Intelligent auto lowering Crumpet setting Extra wide and deep slots Defrost setting Self centring toasting slots Reheat settings Toast and cancel button 3. Select the desired Toast browning setting by sliding the browning control slider on the front of the toaster. Toast browning settings range from `1' lightest to `7' darkest. When using the toaster for the first time, it is suggested to use Toast setting `4'. Varying types of bread and personal preference may require a different browning setting, for example, raisin toast and white light-textured breads may require a lighter setting, whilst heavier textured rye breads may require a darker setting. Press the `TOAST/CANCEL' button on the top of the toaster and the bread will automatically be lowered into the toasting slots. Note Cool touch exterior Removable crumb tray Variable browning control slide Tidy cord storage 5. The toaster turns off when the desired toast colour is achieved and automatically raises the toast out of the toasting slots. [. . . ] Select the desired browning setting, press the `TOAST/CANCEL' button to lower the crumpets, and press the crumpet button on the top of the toaster (the indicator light will illuminate). This setting when activated adjusts the heating elements to produce additional heat to the centre elements to cook the top of your crumpet faster than the bottom. Crumpets must always face inwards towards the middle of the toaster. The toaster will revert back to the selected toast setting after the Crumpet selection has finished. STORAGE Always switch off at the power outlet, then remove the plug from the outlet and allow to cool completely before storing. [. . . ]
