A child's safety is your responsibility · Read these instructions carefully and make yourself familiar with the pushchair before using it with your child. If your pushchair is used by someone unfamiliar with it (for example grandparents) always show them how the pushchair works. Your child's safety may be affected if you do not follow these instructions. [. . . ] Engage both buckle prongs 16 in the buckle housing 18 with an audible "CLICK. Always re-adjust the harness when changing the seating position of your child. How to undo the harness: Squeeze the top and bottom prongs 16 on the buckle housing 18. To undo the harness completely you will have to unhook the buckle prongs 16 from the shoulder straps 17. Use the pushchair for children under 6 months only with the backrest 20 reclined all the way back. How to recline the backrest 20: Hold the backrest 20 with one hand. With your other hand, grasp the adjuster 21 and push the small button 25 down. Pull the adjuster 21 on the adjusting strap 27 downwards until the backrest 20 has reached the desired inclination. How to raise the backrest 20: Hold the end of the adjusting straps 27 with one hand. With your other hand, push the adjuster 21 upwards until the backrest 20 has reached the desired inclination. How to put the leg support 23 up: Pivot the leg support 23 upwards until it engages. How to put the leg support 23 down: Pivot the leg support 23 up slightly. Opening the hood window 30 Undo the Velcro fastener. Roll up the cover 31 and fasten it with the retaining strap. The B-LITE can be supplemented with a suitable raincover 40 and a cosytoes 41. These are available as accessories from your retailer. Never use the raincover indoors, in warm weather or near sources of heat ­ otherwise your child could be exposed to the risk of heat shock. It may be dangerous to leave your child unattended. Do not allow your child to play with the raincover. Always make sure that plenty of fresh air can get in under the raincover 40. Place the raincover 40 over the front hood edge and the seat area of the pushchair. Fasten the snaps 42 to the left and right on the inside of the frame tube. [. . . ] The cosytoes can be cleaned according to the washing label. The plastic parts and the metal parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth. After contact with water the metal parts should be dried off to prevent rust. You can clean the raincover with a damp cloth. [. . . ]
