If you have any further questions regarding its use, please feel free to contact us. 3 Checklist to ensure that your child safety seat is installed correctly . [. . . ] The headrest 20 must be adjusted so that the shoulder straps 19 are at the same level as your child's shoulders or slightly above. Slide the headrest 20 until the shoulder straps are at the correct height. Fold the headrest 20 back onto the seat shell 11 to lock the headrest adjuster 21 again. Put the shoulder straps 19 over the shoulders of your child. Tighten the straps until they are in contact with your child's body. The hip belt 28 must lie as low as possible over your child's hips. Pull on the strap end 36 until you hear a clear click from the harness adjuster 35. Pull the strap end as straight as possible. Pull the shoulder straps 19 to ensure that the harness lies flat. Pull the strap end 36 again until you hear a click. For the safety of your child, please check that. The straps of the child safety seat are comfortable but FIRM fit around your child, · The shoulder pads 23 are in the right position on your child's body. Reclining position of the child safety seat To place the seat shell in the reclining position: Pull up on the adjustment handle 10 and pull the seat shell 11 forward. The seat shell 11 must engage securely regardless of its position. Pull on the seat shell 11 to ensure that it is en gaged. Note: The seat can only be opened in the upright position. In an accident at a collision speed above 10 km/h the child safety seat could suffer damage which is not necessarily obvious. In such cases it is extremely important that you replace the child seat. To prevent damage or breakage, ensure that the child seat does not become jammed in the car door, seat runners, etc. Should the child seat be damaged (for example after dropping it) it must be inspected by the manufacturer. The function of the harness buckle is important for the safety of your child. The buckle tongues are ejected only slowly when the red release button is pressed. [. . . ] Push down the strap loops of the shoulder pads 23 from the base 32 of the headrest adjuster 21. Unhook the shoulder straps 19 from the connecting piece 42. After unhooking the connecting piece 42, do not allow it to slip down into the seat base. Pull the shoulder straps 19 and the strap loops of the shoulder pads 23 out of the belt slots 34. [. . . ]
