Press the CLEAR button until you return to the standby screen. 24 Handset Settings To lock or unlock the keypad You can lock the keypad so that it cannot be used accidentally while carrying it around. To adjust the handset ringer volume The handset has 3 ringer volume settings: Off, Low and High. Press the UP or DOWN button until the display shows Handset To change the handset ringer melody The handset has 3 ringer melodies to choose from: 1, 2 and 3. Press the UP or DOWN button until the display shows Handset Settings. OK Press the OK option button. Press the UP or DOWN button until the display shows Ringer OK Settings. Press the OK options button. Press the UP or DOWN button until the display shows Ringer Volume. OK Press the OK option button. The current ringer volume setting will be highlighted. Use the UP or DOWN button to highlight which volume setting you require: Off, Low or High. You will hear a sample ring for the High or Low settings. OK Melody. Press the OK option button. The current melody will be highlighted. 26 Use the UP or DOWN button to highlight which melody you require: 1, 2 or 3. You will hear a sample melody on each press. OK Press the OK option button to confirm. Press the CLEAR button until you return to the standby screen. The current melody will be highlighted.
