Customers use statistics files most often to create custom reports, either about one job or, by accumulating, about several jobs. In order to generate statistics files, ACE must perform the same processing that goes into the Job Summary Report. Therefore, if you elect not to create the Job Summary Report, ACE will not create statistics files. It consists of a single record The File statistics file may describe how your input file was updated, or what was posted to output files.
