So if your input data does not contain accents, and you don't care about accents in your output data, we suggest you accept this setting. Use Unite as the default French unit designator. 28 ACE Canada Job-File Reference Multiline Style All of the Multiline Style options are explained in the ACE User's Guide. Please refer to that guide for details about how these options will affect your results. The quick information below is meant to serve as a reminder only. Swap Address Lines (TOP/BOTTOM/NONE)= Top Top Bottom None Move lines around per CPC guidelines. If there are any blank lines, move them down, and shift the data to the top of the block. If there are any blank lines, move them up, and shift the data to the bottom of the block. Do not move any lines around, blank or otherwise. If you turn on the swapping feature, ACE will rearrange your multiline data to conform with CPC guidelines. ACE will move the primary address into position above the last line. If the secondary address was input on a separate line, ACE will place it just above the primary address. To use this feature, all of your multiline fields must be the same length (in your dBASE or FMT file). The swapping feature does not require that you standardize your data. Combine Address Line Info (Y/N)= Y Combine Last Line Info (Y/N)= Y Yes No Look for related components that were input on separate lines, and try to put them together on the same line. Do not try to combine components. If you are processing a two-line format, then your Combine Last Line Info setting does not matter. You may enter either Yes or No. Include Postal Code (Y/N)= Y No Do not touch the postal code inside the multiline address block. This option is chosen by some ACE users who are forbidden to change anything inside the address block. If ACE can assign a postal code, then place the assigned postal code inside the multiline address block. If ACE cannot assign a postal code, keep the postal code that was in the input record (if there was one). Yes This parameter applies to you only if you are processing a multiline format. They have no effect on a two-line format.
