This includes the following packages: · Crystal Reports 2008 · BusinessObjects Live Office XI 3. 1 18 2011-01-06 Fix Pack installation on Windows · BusinessObjects BI Widgets XI 3. 1 1. Launch the installation by running setup. exe 2. In the "Welcome" screen, click Next. In the "License Agreement" screen, review the contents of the End User License Agreement, and click Next to proceed if you agree to the terms. In the "Start Installation" screen, click Next to begin the installation. The Installation Progress screen appears. 4. 3 Silent installation on Windows 4. 3. 1 Running a silent installation using a response file on Windows Crystal Reports Server 2008 V1 Fix Pack can be installed silently using a response file. Silent installation is particularly useful when you need to quickly perform multiple installations or automate installations. To run a silent installation using a response file you must first create a . ini file using the Crystal Reports Server 2008 V1 Fix Pack 3. 1 setup program. Once you have created the . ini file, you can run a silent installation by running the setup. exe command and specifying the path to the . ini file. Note: If you are performing a silent installation using a response file, you must create the response file with the setup. exe or install. shfile from the target Service Pack or Fix Pack installation package. Response files cannot be shared between full installs and update installs. Response files cannot be shared between Service Pack and Fix Pack installs. From the directory that contains the Crystal Reports Server 2008 V1 Fix Pack 3 setup. exe file, run the setup. exe command with the write option (-w) specified: setup. exe -w <filename. ini> <responsefilepath> where <filename. ini> is the name you have given to the response file and <response filepath> is the location where you want the file created.
