The steps you must take to update configuration files depends on which version of the GDQ Link you are upgrading. 8SJUDGH IURP To upgrade from 1. 30 or 2. 00, you must update the files edqconfig. xml and 1L_DQ_Connector. cfg. To update your 1. 30 or 2. 00 versions of these files, you run a command-line utility. This utility automatically updates your original files to the new format. Copy the backup copies of your configuration files (edqconfig. xml and 1L_DQ_Connector. cfg) from install_directory\edqsrv\bin\backup and paste them into install_directory\edqsrv\bin (replace the existing copies in that directory). Note: You can copy the entire contents of the /backup folder. However, if you know exactly which (if any) files you've customized, it will save time to copy/replace only those files. From the command prompt, navigate to the location of the Edjob utility. The utility is installed in install_directory\core\adm by default. Type edjob and press the Enter key to start the utility. When the utility starts, it lists the syntax of the command-line options you can use. To update a job file, enter the following commands appropriate for the job file type. The minimum commands you must enter are listed in the tables.
