The wash control light comes on, and the program starts. Follow the manufacturer's instructions. q Rinse the detergent dispenser under hot running water. 19 q Push down the insert until it clicks into place. q Insert the detergent dispenser. q Remove the drain hose from its holder and pull the hose out of the housing. Cleaning the drain pump This is necessary if the water cannot be completely drained. The pump is blocked by either loose debris or lint which accumulates if lint giving fabrics are washed. Keep children and domestic pets away from the washing machine. q Turn the program selector to Off. q Push up the closing cap (1st) and place the drain hose back in its holder (2nd). 20 q Attach and tighten the pump cap. q Carefully remove the pump cap. q Attach and close the cover plate. To avoid unused detergent from flowing into the drain during the next wash cycle: q Pour 1 litre / 1 ¾ pt of water into chamber II. q Select the Drain program. q Remove any loose debris / lint from inside the pump and clean the pump. [. . . ] Attach the U bracket to the end of the hose and insert end of hose into standpipe or wall drain. q Use a strap or cable tie connected to U bracket to hold hose in place. 10 mm q Subsequent to connection: Turn on the water taps completely, and check connection points for water tightness. CAUTION The connection points are under full water pressure.
