[. . . ] The Océ ColorStream 3000 MICR systems use water based “nano” particles MICR ink. Please refer to the respective Material Safety Data Sheets for details. Expiring time Océ targets for a 6 month shelf time for the inks with a guaranteed shelf life of 3 months after delivery to the customer. Please contact your local service organization for details on usage after expiring date. Océ ColorStream 3000 inks are not dangerous and can in most regions be disposed of by land filling or incineration (burning) under observation of (local) governmental regulations. Please check the relevant local regulations based on the MSDS for the inks and other supplies which can be found on the Oce website. The setting is done via the operator GUI and applies per job and colors activated. Customers, who print a job primarily in “Black-only” with occasionally “CMYK” data, need to set the whole job in “CMYK”. Print and counting modes Following print modes can be set via the GUI. As the heads need to be activated for duplex printing (as well as for the refresh lines), a mixplex job will be clicked as duplex for all pages. The Océ ColorStream 3000 offers a unique concept for efficient monochrome and full-color printing in one system. The Head Safe caps the non required colors depending on the color mode the Océ ColorStream 3000 is set up in. This prevents not used nozzles from drying out and prevents that dust clogs them. Switching between monochrome and full color is possible within 3–5 minutes at almost any time. 10 For internal use only | Company confidential 6 Print Quality Refresh modes To avoid head nozzles clogging, each nozzle is jetted a certain times. Océ ColorStream 3000 offers three refresh modes to ascertain an optimal print quality for any type of application. Refresh pages Prints full web size bars for activated colors before any print job. Refresh pages. Printed on every page of a job. Refresh lines and dots Refresh lines settings Besides refresh pages, Océ ColorStream 3000 offers refresh lines or refresh dots. [. . . ] A color reference chart, printed on the printer to be calibrated, is scanned in with an i1 spectrometer system which feeds the measured values into the SRA MP controller automatically. 14 For internal use only | Company confidential Camera systems • Scan2display • Scan2review • Scan2inspect The new line of camera systems include the following three configurations. These configurations are field upgradeable to the next level. The camera system is based on passive RGB contact image sensors (gray bar in photo) with full sheet width scanning at 200 dpi. The compact design with integrated lightning allows scanning at ColorStream 3000 engine speed.
