When RAW images are transferred, they are automatically converted to the TIFF images and the ICC profile is attached to each of them. The specified preferences (239) or individually specified color space (2-25) are added to the ICC profile, which allows Photoshop to display images including that color information. 2 Displaying Thumbnail Images and Performing Basic Edits in the Main Window To open multiple RAW images in Photoshop, RAW images must first be converted to TIFF and JPEG images and saved (2-32) by batch processing. Displaying Images in EOS Capture Digital Photo Professional is compatible with EOS Capture (Remote shooting function of EOS Viewer Utility). If EOS Viewer Utility or EOS Capture have been installed in your computer, Digital Photo Professional displays the images that are shot with EOS Capture in real time. 1 2 3 Connect the camera to your computer. Select [Tools] menu EOS Capture starts up. [Start EOS Capture]. Take a shot. Click the [Release] button in EOS Capture or press the shutter button on the camera to take a shot. The shot is displayed on the Digital Photo Professional main window. 2-35 Specifying the Preferences You can specify various settings for Digital Photo Professional. 1 2 Select [Digital Photo Professional] menu The [Preferences] dialog box appears. [Preferences]. Select the desired tab, specify the settings, and then click the [OK] button. The settings are applied and the [Preferences] dialog box closes. Allows you to select whether the edited image is saved automatically, or the confirmation dialog box is displayed when you quit Digital Photo Professional or change images displayed in the main window to the ones in another folder. Allows you to select whether the folder that was open the last time is displayed or the specified folder is always displayed when Digital Photo Professional starts up. Path display Displays the path of the drive and folder that contain the currently displayed image. Displays the operation mode (2-36). * The above window shows all the information at once. In actual use, only the information needed is displayed. To exit the edit window, select [File] menu [Close Window]. For some images, it may take some time to change to the high resolution image.
