[. . . ] Printers compatible with "Exif Print" optimize printing to reflect such data correctly, allowing images to be printed exactly the way you intended them to be at the time of capture. As "Exif Print" is a new worldwide standard, photographs from any Exif Print digital camera will be able to be printed on an Exif Print compliant printer, and still take advantage of improved quality photo printing. Canon will initially offer five "Exif Print" compliant digital cameras; the EOS D60, PowerShot G2 Black, PowerShot A40, PowerShot A30, and PowerShot A100. Canon's Bubble Jet printers will be "Exif Print" compliant, via a new photo printing application called "Easy-Photo Print" that will be available Q2/2002. As a company Canon is wholly committed to the new "Exif Print" standard, and will therefore continue to introduce new products compatible with "Exif Print" in order to provide photo solutions that are easier to use as well as providing better results. Exif Print makes quality photo printing available to all! Until now Canon has been offering top-of-the-line digital photo solutions and photo print quality with its award winning digital cameras and Bubble Jet printers. Now that "Exif Print" has become the worldwide standard, high quality photo printing is now also available to those users who do not have a total Canon solution, as well as providing enhanced quality to those users that do have Canon to Canon solutions.
