Manual Sending Via the Handset

With manual sending via the handset, you dial, converse normally and when they are ready to receive your fax, press the Start/Copy button to begin sending. For manual sending via the handset, you need to have the optional handset or a telephone connected to your FAX-L2000.
Memory sending allows you to send a document easily and quickly. This method of sending scans the document into memory, and as the first page of a multipage document is being scanned, the FAX-L2000 already begins calling the other party and transmitting the information even as the remaining pages are being scanned. To use memory sending, you load the document, dial the fax number and press the Start/Copy button. See page 6-20 for more details on memory sending.
Sending Faxes 6-15
Since the FAX-L2000 is multitasking, you can even scan a document into the memory while sending a document, receiving a document, or printing a report.
