About the LCD Monitor and Viewfinder
The LCD monitor and viewfinder are produced with extremely highprecision manufacturing techniques. Less than 0. 01% of the pixels may occasionally misfire or appear as red or black dots. This has no effect on the recorded image and does not constitute a malfunction.

Switching between Metering Modes
Light metering measures the brightness of a subject. By selecting the optimal mode, you can shoot a subject with the optimal exposure. Evaluative metering is the default metering mode.
The camera divides images into several zones for light metering. The camera evaluates complex lighting conditions, such as the position of the subject, the brightness, the background, the direct light, and the backlighting, and adjusts the settings to the correct exposure for the main subject.
Center-Weighted Averages the light metered from the entire frame, but gives greater Average weight to the subject matter at the center. Spot AE Point Center AF Point Meters the area within the spot AE point frame. Moves the spot AE point to the AF frame.

Adjusting the Exposure
