[. . . ] IMPORTANT The Color Network ScanGear is available only for the Windows operating systems. 1 Before You Start Using This Machine Installing the Scanner Driver The scanner driver is a driver for using digital multi-purpose printers on a network as scanners. The scanner driver is installed from the same UFRII LT User Software CD-ROM as the printer driver. For Windows: UFRII LT Printer Driver Color Network ScanGear Printer Driver Installation Guide UFRII LT User Software Network ScanGear Installation Guide ■ Color Network ScanGear The Color Network ScanGear driver is called from TWAIN-compliant applications. IMPORTANT If you want to use the machine as a network scanner, it must be connected to a computer over an IPv4 network. NOTE When scanning a large number of images or images containing large amounts of image data, an insufficient memory error or notable loss of scanning speed may occur. If this happens, the following procedures should prove useful: - Increase the amount of hard disk space by deleting or otherwise appropriately processing unnecessary files on the hard disk etc. 1-28 Before Using the Remote Scan Function Installation From the menu screen of the CD-ROM, you can begin installing the scanner driver, or display the Network ScanGear Installation Guide.
