Using the Wide-converter
Screw the Wide-converter lens fully into the lens filter thread. ¡ If the camcorder lens has a lens hood, remove it before attaching the Wide-converter. You cannot use the lens hood with the Wide-converter. If your camcorder is equipped with a lens hood, remove it and attach the lens hood supplied with the WD-58H. ¡ Attach the lens hood to the front end of the WD-58H and fasten the screw. ¡ Depending on the camcorder model you attach the Wide-converter to, the camcorder’s tally lamp and wireless control sensor may be obstructed (the range of the wireless controller may narrow), and a shadow may appear when the flash or the Video Light are used. ¡ Take care when handling the Wide-converter, to avoid smudging and fingerprints. ¡ If you have attached the WD-58H and the lens hood supplied with the WD-58H and put it on the floor, do not thrust the camcorder from above. ¡ (If you have attached the WD-58H and the lens hood supplied with the WD-58H, ) do not carry the camcorder by the lens hood. ¡ Attach the lens hood into the right rotating direction and make sure that the lens hood is not lopsided.
