[. . . ] After making sure that the POWER lamp is off, unplug the printer. Always ensure you unplug the printer before cleaning the printer to avoid an electric shock. Cleaning the Printer 81 Routine Maintenance 3 Open the front cover, and wipe out the interior of the printer with a dry cloth. Wipe away any stray drops of ink, scraps of paper, and dust. Pay special attention to cleaning the black panel that can be most easily soiled. Do not touch any of the printer's internal components, such as the print head holder. If the envelopes are curled, hold the opposite corners and gently bend them in the opposite direction. Ensure that the flap of the envelope is perfectly straight.
