Automated sorting of jobs The Job Store & Sorting Table module auto­ matically sorts jobs into batches according to criteria determined when the system is set up. This helps to reduce the effort and cost of document handling and distribution. The system can be set up to automatically merge the output of several batches, for instance the weekly invoice batch and the weekly brochures, merged and sorted according to addressee. Once all batches are merged, the system automatically places jobs in the print queues. The Job Store & Sorting Table module is an option. Incoming jobs can be split according to pre-defined criteria. The resulting sub-jobs will be processed independently. This enables the collection and sorting of documents that belong together, even if they are generated in different large batches by the ERP system at different moments in time.
