'' · The image may not appear smooth when a high shutter speed is set. · The camcorder returns to the auto shutter setting when you slide the program selector to [ (Easy Recording), or change the recording program. · If you set the shutter speed to 1/500 or above in TAPE CAMERA mode and then switch the camcorder to CARD CAMERA mode, the shutter speed will automatically change to 1/250. 74 Adjusting Focus Manually The camcorder can focus automatically. All you have to do is point it, and whatever is in the center of the display will usually be in sharp focus. If it does not seem to be focusing well, it may be because the subject is not suitable for autofocus. You can use the manual focusing function for more control over focusing. E Focus lock TAPE + CAMERA , CARD + CAMERA REC SEARCH REC SEARCH FOCUS AE SHIFT Press the FOCUS button to turn off autofocus. The focus remains locked at the point set by autofocus. (eM.
