Manual abstract: user guide CARROM 244

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] I recommend spraying a little in a piece of cloth and wiping the rods back and forth through the cloth. In addition, a little lubricant may be added to the rods. Be sure to spray from the outside of the game as not to contaminate the playing surface. Work the lubricant into the bearings by sliding and rotating the rods back and forth. [. . . ] Check Puck Trough channel for dirt and/or blockages. If puck tends to lie in the goal area, add a dry film lubricant (silicone) or WD-40 to PUCK TROUGH surface and both sides of the PUCK. I recommend spraying a little on your index finger and spreading it to the inside of the inside puck return. Clean all surfaces of any dirt prior to application of the dry film lubricant. NOTE: Liquid lubricants will attract dirt and impede puck performance. Player Travel If the Player rubs on edge of slot check the alignment of guide strip. Adjust if necessary by repositioning in the direction needed. This is done by removing the Dome and Play Field and then removing the three screws used to assemble the guide strip and repositioning it. Goalie loose and will not turn when Goalie Knob is used This is caused when one of the players attempts to force the Goalie beyond the built in stop bracket. If goalie does not move when control knob is rotated, tighten the screw at the end of the goalie shaft. Removing the play field and tightening the screw at the end of the Goalie Shaft accomplish this. If desired, the customer may add a drop of Epoxy or Crazy Glue to the screw prior to tightening it. Replace all bumpers and brackets on the new rod by removing them from the old rod. The brackets should be located identically to assure proper play and stopping of the gear. Re-assembly of the game is the reverse of the above procedure. It may be necessary to heat the handles using a blow dryer to assemble them to the rods. Goalie Blocks on the Model #748. 02 Pro Soccer 1. Remove the clear Plastic Shields and carefully place them next to the game, being careful not to scratch them. Remove all players from the playing field by firmly and carefully pulling on each player. Remove the White Plastic Game deflector located on each end of the game, by removing the four screws used to assemble them to the game. Carefully lift the playing surface from the game. Un-loop the Goalie Block/Wire Assembly from the Fixed Link. Remove the Push-nut from the Goalie Block. Please note how the wire is attached prior to removing the Push- nut. [. . . ] Make sure you wear gloves when handling lighter fluid. Air Powered Hockey Playing Surface Replacement Instructions (Applicable for both Hydralumina and Composite Rail Air Powered Hockey in 6' or 7' Size) GAME MUST BE UNPLUGGED FROM ELECTRICAL SOURCE 1. Remove the Puck catchers from each end of the game. Remove the 7/16" Hex nuts from the underside of the table. Remove the Black Top Corner Caps as well as the Rails by lifting them from the table.
