This user manual contains important information on the correct use of this product. Please read this information carefully before using your Cartrek navigation device. Furthermore, you are advised to also read your product's hardware user manual. [destination selected]> Route inspection> Route settings 25 CarTrek600 Software Instruction Manual The Route settings screen allows you to: · Change the transportation mode to car, pedestrian or bike; · Switch between shortest and fastest route calculation modes; · Set the maximum speed for ETA calculation; · Set a toll or highway avoidance. NOTE: Route settings changed here are applied to all route calculation. Route settings can also be changed via the System settings screen. 3. 7 [destination selected]> [route checked] Navigation screen explained 6 5 6 8 9 1 10 3 2 11 7 4 Once you have selected your destination and approved the route calculated by the device, you will be taken to the navigation screen. This screen will help to guide you towards your destination. Next to the information on this screen your navigation device will also give audio instructions to guide you to your selected destination(s). The blue line represents the route calculated by the device (3). Thecurrentroadfield, displayingthestreetnameofyourcurrentlocation(4). The next road field, displaying the street name corresponding to the upcoming manoeuvre (5). The estimated time of arrival (ETA) (8). A visual representation of the next manoeuvre (9). Astatisticsfield, displayingtheexpectedtraveltime, thedistancetotheselected destination and an approximation of your current speed (10). Astatusfield, displayingtheestimatedstand-alonepowerofyourbatteryandthe number of connected satellites (11). If you want to change any of the settings during navigation simply tap on the map. TIP: The navigation screen and the placement of informational items can be customized to fit your specific needs. TIP: Your navigation device supports 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional map viewing as well as two different map views designed for use during day and during night. More information on changing map views can be found in section 3. 9. 3. 3. 7. 1 Auto zoom functionality Navigation screen The auto zoom functionality adapts the zoom level of the navigation screen map to the speed of your vehicle. Acceleration results in zooming out on the map. [. . . ] CosmicNavigation warrants solely to Licensee that the Software shall perform substantially in accordance with the program specifications in effect at the time of delivery and shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship, when given normal, proper and intended usage, for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of delivery of the Software Package to Licensee. CosmicNavigation agrees to repair or replace at its option and without cost to Licensee, all defective Software Package components, provided that Licensee has given CosmicNavigation written notice of such warranty claim within such thirty (30) day warranty period. CosmicNavigation shall have no obligation to make repairs or replacements which are required by normal wear and tear, or which result, in whole or in part, from catastrophe, fault or negligence of Licensee, or from improper or unauthorized use of the Software Package (including any use by third parties and by Licensee's employees, consultants and agents who are not authorized users), or use of the Software Package in a manner for which it is not designed, or by causes external to the Software Package. No suit or action shall be brought against CosmicNavigation more than one (1) year after the related cause of action has occurred. [. . . ]
