[. . . ] Auto mode setting After installation of batteries or after being reset, the clock will attempt to receive the RC signal automatically. If the clock fails to receive the signal in its first reception attempt, it will repeat a reception every hour until 2:00 AM and go to `Automatic time update" mode. If the unit still cannot receive a RC signal after "Automatic time update" mode, it will search again the next day at 2:00 AM. Once the RC signal has been successfully received, the unit will automatically update the time by entering the "Automatic time update" mode each day at 2:00 AM Automatic time update The clock will automatically update the time each day at 2:00 AM. If automatic time update fails, the clock will repeat the update attempt 3 times in the next 3 hours. If the unit still cannot receive the RC signal, it will search again the next day at 2:00 AM. Note: It is recommended that for the first use of the clock, you set the clock manually and then allow the Radio Control signal to update the time setting each day. Setting the Time Manually Slide the FUNCTION SELECTOR on the back of the clock to the TIME SET position. Press the HOUR button on the back of the clock to advance to the correct hour. Press the MINUTE button on the back of the clock to advance to the correct minute. Press the 12/24-HOUR button on the back to choose either 12 or 24-hour time display. (In the normal 12-hour format a "PM" will appear on the display during evening hours). Setting The Date Manually Your Atomic clock will automatically set the correct date once the signal is received. The date can be set manually by sliding the FUNCTION SELECTOR to the Calendar position. Then press the MONTH, DATE and YEAR buttons until the correct date appears on the display. Be sure you are in the correct AM or PM time since the wrong time will affect the date settings. Temperature Display Press _ or _ button to choose either Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature display. Care of Your Clock Replace the batteries promptly when necessary and store the clock without batteries when not in use. Clean your clock with a cloth or paper towel. Do not use corrosive cleanser or chemical solutions on the clock. Keep the clock clean and dry to avoid problems. [. . . ] If this occurs, press the RESET button located on the back of the clock and resume normal clock operation following the instructions again from the beginning.
