If the Feed key is held down for more than four seconds, the printer assumes continuous media is installed. The printer performs a two-page self-test print then enters the Hex Dump or Data Dump mode (prints out the communication data by ASCII code). The printer returns to the normal operating mode only when the power is turned off. 2. 5 System Maintenance Mode The printer enters the system maintenance mode when the Pause, Feed and Stop keys are pressed and held down simultaneously while turning the printer on.
