6. Install the sleeve in the dashboard slot and bend the tabs back with a screwdriver. [. . . ] Press and hold until âManualâ¦â is displayed; you are now in manual mode. The unit returns to auto search mode and âAUTOâ¦â is displayed if no button is pressed for a few seconds. The radio scans the frequencies and measures the signal strength during one seach cycle. SCAN Press SCAN (18) to access search mode and to scan for a strong station. The unit plays the station and the frequency flashes five times on the display). presets Press one of the number buttons (1-6) to select a preset station. Press and hold (until a second beep sounds) to store the current station under the selected preset number. In this menu use the volume knob (26) to select the station and (1) tune into the station. Â¢ TA-SEEK: SEEK/ALARM a) TA SEEK mode: If a new station does not broadcast TP information for more than 5 seconds the radio automatically tunes into the next station with different Pl but same TP information. If the current station temporarily looses TP information and this stations is set to RETUNE SHORT or RETUNE LONG, then the radio tunes into the next station with same Pl. If no Pl station is found after one tuning cycle, then the radio tunes into the next station with TP information. Note: In TA SEEK mode the current station can be replaced with a different station, since the radio scans for a TP station as soon as field signal or signal strength are weak or the current station has no TP signal (TP has higher priority than PI). This keeps the current station in this mode (PI has higher priority than TP). The beep tones sound if a new station does not broadcast TP information for more than 5 seconds. If the current station temporarily looses TP information the beep tone stops. âPI SEEKâ is repressed if a new station has no ANS signal. Â¢ MASK: DPI/ALL MASK DPI mode: Marks only AF with different Pl (DPI). Mask ALL mode: Marks all AF with different Pl and no ANS signal with high field strength. Turn the volume knob (26) to select a station or press (1) to find the desired channel. 76
â¢ REGION: OFF/ON Region ON mode: AF or PI Seek function is implemented for all stations with same PI code as the current station. Region OFF mode: The regional code in the Pl code is ignored when AF is changed or PI SEEK is implemented. Â¢ TA volume: Preset TA volume level 18, set to level 0-40 â¢ RETUNE: LONG/SHORT If the current station looses the Pl information for a certain time (set to Retune Short (30 seconds) or Retune Long (90 seconds)), then the radio scans for the next station with same PI. [. . . ] TOGGLE CALL BETWEEN MOBILE PHONE AND THIS UNIT During your phone conversation press and hold T-MENU (6) to re-route the call from the mobile phone to the unit â or vice versa. Note: 1) When re-routing an incoming call to your mobile phone the sound is automatically muted if it was deactivated previously. 2) Outgoing calls cannot be re-routed before the recipient accepts them.
