Hint: Place an empty jug under the valve, close the steam control switch and for partly opening the steam valve please turn counter clockwise so all condensation build within the steam valve can escape. Fill the jug one third with fresh cold milk (warm, hot or old milk will not froth). Immerse the steam valve just below the surface of the milk and open the steam valve. Turn the steam control knob clockwise to close the steam valve. Spoon the foam into the espresso than Add liquid milk. If you would like to proceed making espresso after producing steam, put an empty jug under the brew head. press the pump button , to refill the water supply for the heating system. When water runs out the brew head and the steam- and the readiness lamp switch of release the pump button. Wait until the readiness light switches on again.
