[. . . ] ⷠAlways remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is not in use, when attaching accessory parts, cleaning the device or whenever a disturbance occurs. ⷠIn order to protect children from the dangers of electrical appliances, never leave them unsupervised with the device. Consequently, when selecting the location for your device, do so in such a way that children do not have access to the device. [. . . ] Before using for the first time leave the hot plates switched on for 5 minutes and then the oven with all the heating functions for 20 minutes in order to remove the protective layer. This may lead to the development of small quantities of smoke. Clean the accessories in the usual way by rinsing in cold water. Before inserting the mains plug into the socket check whether the voltage which you intend to use corresponds to that of the machine. please see the label on the machine for details. Only connect the machine to a correctly installed safety socket, 230 V/50 Hz. Please note that you cannot use all the functions of the machine at the same time. One or both hot plates (all levels) Oven with upper and lower heat or separate Grill Oven (all positions) + small hot plate Grill + small hot plate Control Lamps The lower control lamp is dimly lit when the machine is connected to the mains. Only use saucepans with a flat bottom in order to make optimum use of the energy (see diagram 1). The saucepan should never be smaller than the hot plate. The 7-position switch of the hot plates makes it possible to finely adjust the heating level to the cooking process (see diagram 2). Use of the Oven The oven may be operated with separate upper and lower heat (not regulated) and with combined operation (regulable from 0 - 275 °C). Combined Operation (upper and lower heat): Adjust the temperature regulator by turning it in a clockwise direction to the desired temperature. the oven will now be heated up to the set temperature. Once the temperature has been reached the upper lamp will go out until the next heating operation. Lower heat: Lower oven heating, full power, unregulated.
