In order to prevent heat from building up,  do not put the unit directly underneath a cupboard. Ensure that there is enough space all around. Beware of steam coming out when you open the baking section. NON-STICK COATING Lightly grease the baking surfaces before the unit is used for the first time. 10 minutes with the baking section closed (see "Using the unit").  â· Please do not eat the first pieces of toast you make. Put the plug into an earthed 230 V,  50 Hz mains socket. The orange control lamp lights up during heating. Keep the baking unit closed during the warming-up time. The light goes out once the heating time is over and the baking temperature has been reached.  [. . . ]  the guarantee will be invalidated if the appliances are tampered with.
