Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] â· Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is not in use, when attaching accessory parts, cleaning the device or whenever a disturbance occurs. â· In order to protect children from the dangers of electrical appliances, never leave them unsupervised with the device. Consequently, when selecting the location for your device, do so in such a way that children do not have access to the device. Take care to ensure that the cable does not hang down. [. . . ] Ensure that there is enough space all around. Beware of steam coming out when you open the baking section. NON-STICK COATING Lightly grease the baking surfaces before the unit is used for the first time. Use the appliance for about 10 minutes with the toasting surfaces closed (see "Using the unit"). â· Throw away the first waffle. Insert the plug into a duly installed 230V/50Hz socket with protective plug reception. The red and green LED's will light up. Keep the baking surfaces closed while the appliance is warming up. The baking temperature is reached when the green LED shuts off. Open the lid and spread the batter by pouring it from the middle to the outer edge. The green LED lights up again after a few seconds. Once the green LED is shut off again, the baking is over. (The time necessary for the baking depends on the thickness and consistency of the waffle. Open the lid and remove the waffle with a wooden fork or a similar kitchen utensil. Do not use sharp or pointed objects, as the coating of the baking surfaces risk being damaged. Place the waffle on a serving dish or a plate and cover it with powdered sugar. The baking section should always be closed in the intervals between baking. 5 egg yolks, 5 dessertspoons of hot water, 100 g sugar and 1 grated lemon peel should be mixed together until frothy and then a mixture of 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and 150 g flour should be stirred in. [. . . ] Should the warranty be valid, please consign the complete appliance in its original packing together with the cash receipt to your local dealer. You are not entitled to the replacement of the appliance owing to broken glass parts and faulty accessories. However, said parts will be replaced free of charge. In this case only the faulty accessory needs to be ordered without sending back the whole appliance! [. . . ]
