[. . . ] AMX28 Immobilizer Owner's Manual Your AMX28 Immobilizer includes two coded transponder tags. Keep only one coded tag on your key chain at a time. The second coded tag can be used as a spare, or for a second driver with their own set of keys. [. . . ] The LED will turn off and the engine can now be started. NOTE: If the LED changes to a rapid flash and the engine will not start, hold the coded tag near the ignition switch to disarm the system. Valet Mode To prevent an unauthorized person from entering programming mode and possibly adding their own coded tag, you can put the AMX28 into Valet Mode. In Valet Mode, a valet attendant or service personnel can start the vehicle while you keep the coded tag in your possession. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position with the doors closed. Turn the ignition key OFF and then ON three times (OFF, ON, OFF, ON, OFF, ON). The LED will flash at a medium rate to indicate the AMX28 is in Valet Mode. Remove the coded tag from your key chain. 1 To Turn Off Valet Mode 1. Connect the coded tag to your key chain. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position. Turn the ignition key OFF and then ON three times (OFF, ON, OFF, ON, OFF, ON). The LED will turn off to indicate the AMX28 is out of Valet Mode. Adding/Deleting Coded Transponder Tags 1. (Turn the ignition key ON with your coded tag on the key chain. ) 3. Remove all transponder tags from the key ring. [. . . ] Repeat steps 3 and 4 for any other transponder tags you wish to add to the AMX28 memory. When you have finished adding the transponder tags into memory, turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position to exit programming. NOTE: Any transponder tag(s) that were not used in this process will be automatically deleted from the AMX28 memory and cannot be used to deactivate the Immobilizer. Part Number: 31-3325 2 [. . . ]
