Plays the next message if entered the #5 or #2 command. #5 #6 #7 #8 #9 * Toll Saver Toll Saver allows you to tell whether or not there are new messages before the message center answers the phone. This feature allows you to hang up before incurring phone charges. When Toll Saver is on and there are no new messages, the HP Fax adds two rings to the Rings to Answer setting. For example, if Rings to Answer is set to 4, the device will ring 6 times before answering if there are no new messages. (See Set rings to answer on page 27. ) Follow these instructions to turn Toll Saver on and off. TIP: You should only turn paging on if you are going to be gone. There is a delay between receiving the message and the paging message going out. If you happen to answer an incoming call at the time the paging message is being sent, it will override your incoming call. To use message paging follow these steps. Set up message paging 1. Press Menu repeatedly until SET UP TAM displays and press Start/Enter. !"until Message Paging displays and press Start/Enter. Press !"until On displays and press Start/Enter. 2. Enter the telephone number you want called (for example, your mobile number) and press Start/Enter. The device will ask you to record (or if you want to change) the Paging Greeting. The paging greeting will be played to you when you answer the phone at the forwarded number. Press Start/Enter and speak into the microphone to create or change a Paging Greeting. When you are finished speaking, press Greeting to end the message. Press Cancel to keep an existing paging greeting. Receive a message page When you answer the phone, your paging greeting will play repeatedly to let you know that you have a message. You can then enter your password and use the remote access codes to listen to your message. See Remote Access on page 39 to learn how to access the message. Record a conversation NOTE: In many jurisdictions, there are legal issues surrounding the recording of telephone conversations. [. . . ] However, if product failure or damage is attributable to the use of a non-HP or refilled ink cartridge, HP will charge its standard labor and materials charges to service the product for the failure or damage. If HP receives, during the applicable warranty period, notice of a defect in any product, HP shall either repair or replace the defective Product, at HP's option. If HP is unable to repair or replace, as applicable, a defective product which is covered by HP's warranty, HP shall, within a reasonable time after being notified of the defect, refund the purchase price for the Product.
