Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector to which the TouchPad cable is connected and disconnect the TouchPad cable (2) from the system board. Release the ZIF connector to which the keyboard cable is connected and disconnect the keyboard cable (3) from the system board. 8. Remove the top cover. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
