Some virtual machine settings may be disabled if the machine is currently running or is saved to disk. Some settings that are editable while the virtual machine is running require a restart before they take effect, for example, changing a hard disk image or turning off networking. In these cases, the OK button changes to Restart. IMPORTANT PC Name setting Use this setting to name the virtual machine. Typically, the name indicates the operating system running on the virtual machine. It must be fewer than 32 characters in length.
