[. . . ] CC-STS Product Information Speaker Tone Sense Module for CK series Power Processing Amplifiers unit sets a contact closure open or closed depending on your application. The module provides 2 inputs for speaker returns and two alarm outputs (contact closures). [. . . ] As a CC style module it is intended to operate in a stand alone amplifier or can be used with NexSys local controllers (LCP-AC8). The CC-STS Module fits in the network bay located on the rear panel of Crest Audio CK series of power processing amplifiers. The module individually monitors each amplifiers output and the complete speaker run for a pilot tone to ensure total system operation. When the pilot tone is absent from the end of the speaker chain, the Features · Two independant speaker return inputs and two Alarm outputs A & B (contact closures) · Works with any CC or NC type input module and CC type output module · STS module resides in middle bay of the CK series amplifier · Contact closures indicate loss of pilot tone or amplifier protect (amplifier output relays open) on either channel · User selectable jumpers to enable normally open or normally closed contact closures · Contact closures may be paralleled for a single return · LED's on the module indicate the type of fault · Selectable tone sense range 13 to 30kHz. It will detect a pilot tone at the speaker return input. The detectable frequency range of a the pilot tone will be between 13K to 30KHz. The pilot tone frequency and threshold will be seletable by a recessed rear panel potentiometer. The rear panel will have LED's indicating a loss of "Tone" or "Protect" fault for each channel.
