You may need to repeat this several times with cooled vinegar to remove the calcium build-up completely. When the descaling process is achieved, empty the kettle and rinse out several times with clean water. The inside and outside brushed steel coating makes washing very easy. CAUTION: Disconnect the kettle from electrical outlet before cleaning. â· Before cleaning, be sure the kettle is cold. â· Clean the exterior surface of the kettle with a clean damp cloth to preserve its original brushed finish. â· Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring agents of any kind on the interior or exterior of the kettle. â· Do not immerse the base of the kettle or the power base in water or other liquid, and be sure that the electric kettle socket and the base socket (located in the centre) are kept dry. It is recommended to remove and rinse the anti-scale filter from time to time under running water (see fig. Never switch on the kettle without any water in it.
