Manual abstract: user guide CUISINART CPT180E

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] The 2-level lift carriage control allows you to remove the smallest slices with no burns. Extra-wide (36mm) toasting slots :allow you to toast all kinds of bread and rolls. CPT180E allows you to toast up to 4 slices thanks to the 4 slots with 2 separate control sets. [. . . ] To remove pieces remaining in the toaster, turn it upside down and shake gently to cause the pieces to drop. Never insert a knife or any sharp object in the toaster as this could cause damage. The browning of your toasts varies depending on the type of bread and degree of humidity of the slices. As a general rule, for medium toasting, set your toaster on level 4-5 to toast denser bread or fresh bread and on 2-3 for toasting stale bread. Do not immerse into water or any other liquid. â· Always disconnect the appliance immediately after use and before cleaning. Never leave the appliance unattended when plugged in. To disconnect, pull out the plug and never the cord. â· Never put your hands inside the appliance. Do not introduce too large foods, metallic packaging or any utensil. â· Do not try to free foods when the appliance is connected. â· Do not use the toaster close to inflammable material or under the wall cupboards of the kitchen. â· Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or the kitchen worktop and avoid any contact with hot surfaces. â· Increased supervision is necessary when this appliance is used near children. The toaster should not be used by children. Do not use the appliance if it has fallen or if it shows noticeable signs of damage. â· Stop using the appliance immediately if the cord is damaged. If the power supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer or his after-sales service only. [. . . ] This will stop the cycle and raise the bread. Bread rolls, muffins or thick slices should be toasted longer. We recommend to use the setting, then to set the toasting level according to your preferences. [. . . ]
