DFP-3 Capacities: The following can be prepared in a single batch using the 3-cup work bowl. Using the chute attachment for slicing and shredding will allow you to do unlimited amounts. Food Sliced or Shredded Cheeses, Fruits or Vegetables Amount 3 cups using work bowl, unlimited using chute attachment For best chopping results, chop 1 cup at a time 3 cups thick purée up to 1/2 pound at a time Chopped Fruits and Vegetables Puréed Fruits and Vegetables, Cooked Legumes Chopped Raw or Cooked Meats, Poultry or Seafood Thin Liquid Thick Liquid Bread/Pizza Dough (may use up to 3/4 cup whole grain flour in recipe) Cake Batter 1-1/2 cups 2 cups 1-1/2 cups flour in recipe to yield a scant 1 pound of dough 3/4 pound to yield one 8-inch layer or 6 cupcakes about 1 pound (12 ­ 24 cookies) Cookie Dough Cream for Whipping 1 cup to yield 1-1/4 cups whipped cream 1-1/2 cups to yield approximately 3/4 cup Nuts for Nut Butters 1 IMPORTANT UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS This package contains a Cuisinart® 3-Cup Food Processor and the following standard parts: a clear work bowl, chute attachment, cover with feed tube, white pusher, metal chopping blade, slicing disc and shredding disc, ejector disc, adapter stem for discs, and spatula. CAUTION: CUTTING TOOLS HAVE VERY SHARP EDGES. [. . . ] Your Cuisinart® Handy PrepTM Food Processor has been manufactured to strict specifications and has been designed for use with the Cuisinart® Food Processor authorized accessories and replacement parts for your model. This warranty expressly excludes any defects or damages caused by accessories, replacement parts or repair service other than those that have been authorized by Cuisinart. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by accident, misuse, shipment or other than ordinary household use. This warranty excludes all incidental or consequential damages. Pulse 5 times to chop avocado, then process until smooth, about 45 seconds. Pulse until mixture is blended, and reaches desired texture for a chunky guacamole, or process until smooth and creamy, about 1-1/2 minutes. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend. Serve with tortilla corn chips. Makes 1-1/2 cups 1 4 1/2 1/3 garlic clove, peeled plum tomatoes (12 ounces), cored, seeded, quartered roasted red pepper, cut in 1-inch pieces cup lightly packed fresh cilantro leaves, washed and dried 1 1-2 2 1/2 1/4 green onion, trimmed, cut 1-inch pieces jalapeño peppers, stemmed, halved, seeded, cut in 1/2-inch pieces tablespoons fresh lime juice teaspoon ground cumin teaspoon kosher salt Insert metal blade. If crust or topping appears to brown to quickly, cover loosely with a sheet of foil.
