[. . . ] Install clutch spring compressor onto the pulley assembly, and operate the compressor to let the wrench be installed more easily. Clutch nut wrench Clutch spring compressor Caution Do not press the compressor too much. Hold the clutch spring compressor onto bench vise, and then remove mounting nut with special service tool. Release the clutch spring compressor and remove friction plate, clutch weight and spring from driven pulley. Remove seal collar from driven pulley. Collar Remove guide pin, guide pin roller, and movable driven face, and then remove O-ring & oil seal seat from movable driven face. Movable driven face Seal Guide pin Inspection Clutch outer Measure the inner diameter of clutch outer. Replace the clutch outer if exceed service limit. Service limit: mm O-ring Guide pin Guide pin roller Inner diameter Clutch outer Clutch lining Measure each clutch weight thickness. Replace it if exceeds service limit. Service limit: 2. 0 mm Clutch lining Clutch weight Driven pulley spring Measure the length of driven pulley spring. Replace it if exceeds service limit. Service limit: 83. 2 mm Free length Driven pulley Check following items: Y If both surfaces are damaged or worn. Y If guide pin groove is damaged or worn. Measure the outer diameter of driven face and the inner diameter of movable driven face. Replace it if exceeds service limit. Service limit: Outer diameter 33. 94 mm Inner diameter 34. 06 mm Driven face Movable driven face Guide pin groove Driven Pulley Bearing Inspection Check if the inner bearing oil seal is damage. Check if needle bearing is damage or too big clearance. Rotate the inside of inner bearing with fingers to check if the bearing rotation is in smooth and silent. Check if the bearing outer parts are closed and fixed. Replace it if necessary. Outer ball bearing Needle bearing Clutch weight Replacement Remove snap ring and washer, and the n remove clutch weight and spring from driving plate. Spring Driving plate Snap ring Caution Some of models are equipped with one mounting plate instead of 3 snap rings. Check if spring is damage or insufficient elasticity. Clutch weight Shock absorption rubber Setting pin Check if shock absorption rubber is damage or deformation. Apply with grease onto setting pins. Shock absorption rubber Install new clutch weight onto setting pin and then push to the specified location. But, the clutch block should not be greased. If so, replace it. Clutch weight Caution Grease or lubricant will damage the clutch weight and affect the block's connection capacity. Spring Install the spring into groove with pliers. Install snap ring and mounting plate onto setting pin. Replacement of Driven Pulley Bearing Remove inner bearing. Snap ring Outer bearing Caution Y If the inner bearing equipped with oil seal on side in the driven pulley, then remove the oil seal firstly. Y If the pulley equipped with ball bearing, it has to remove snap ring and then the bearing. Snap ring Clipper Inner needle bearing Remove snap ring and then push bearing forward to other side of inner bearing. Place new bearing onto proper position and its sealing end should be forwarded to outside. Apply with specified oil. Snap r ing Outer bearing Install new inner bearing. Caution Y Its sealing end should be forwarded to outside as bearing installation. Y Install needle bearing with hydraulic presser. [. . . ] Make sure that the battery is fully charged and in good condition. 17. 6 LIGHT BULBS REPLACEMENT HEADLIGHT & Front Direction lights To remove the headlight, please loosen three screws at back of the headlight. After loosen these three screws, users can find a connector. Please disjoin the connector in order to replace an electrical bulb conveniently and safely. Installation is in the reverse order of disassembly. Head light To replace the direction lights must loosen the screws as shown in picture. Screws Direction light Front position light removes There are two screws inside the cap. Please disassemble first then push the cap upward. [. . . ]
