Install fixed brackets to speakers before attaching speakers to plasma display. Fixed brackets Note Please make sure which side the fixed brackets will be screwed to, considering the left and right side of speakers as shown in the picture to the left. Sponge-attached side 5 PLASMA DISPLAY SPEAKER 3 INSTALLING SPEAKERS TO THE PLASMA DISPLAY . Place a protective covering over the surface you will be working on and lay the plasma display as shown below. S P E A K E R . Take the speakers with fixed brackets to the back of the plasma display. Place the hooks on the fixed brackets to the squared holes in the back of the plasma display. Hooks . Now tightly secure the hooks with the M5 screws. . Please be sure to secure the screws to avoid any shaking or looseness. Note 6 4 CONNECTING SPEAKER WIRES . Take the speaker wire(2) and use the red cord to connect to and from (+) inputs, and use the black cord to connect to and from (-) inputs. Note . Please be sure to connect red wires with (+) and black wires with (-); otherwise, speakers will not produce clear sounds. . Please retain the left over accessories. 7 PLASMA DISPLAY SPEAKER USING SPEAKERS ON STAND 1 INSTALLING SPEAKERS TO ITS OWN STAND. Please be sure to have the vibration absorbent sponge on the side of the speaker where the stand will be attached. . Use a coin to flat blade screwdriver to secure the special screws (round head screws) tightly. Stand . To avoid loose fitting, please be sure that screws are secured tightly. Otherwise, vibrating or distorted sounds may be produced. Note S P E A K E R 2 CONNECTING SPEAKER WIRES. . The wall hanger unit needs to be installed securely enough to handle earthquakes or lengthy periods of vibration. Do not leave out any part when assembling. Please install all parts to where indicated. (Failing to do so may cause the unit to fall and break) (Failing to do so may cause the unit to fall and break) 3 PLASMA DISPLAY HANGER UNIT * PLEASE FOLLOW THESE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN INSTALLING OR HANDLING Special care is needed when installing onto the wall due to its weight (35Kg) When installing, please wear working gloves. When installing on a concrete wall Please be sure to use the enclosed concrete anchors. (If done with bare hands, it may result in injury) Be sure that no one is around to distract you during the installation process. When installing on a wooden wall take special care as the unit may require extra support to uphold the weight of the plasma display. (It may result in injury to you or others) When installing, please have at least two people. Please choose a wall that is straight so that the plasma display can be securely attached onto the wall. ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS 1 HOW TO DISPOSE OF THE PLASMA MONITOR WRAPPER . First dispose of the wrapping band and raise the top box to open. . Afterwards, dispose of the Styrofoam and remove the vinyl covering. 3 PLASMA DISPLAY STAND 2 ASSEMBLING THE PLASMA DISPLAY STAND . Open and take out the stand from the box and remove wrapper. . Slide the stand under the plasma display like the picture below. . Use the enclosed 2 M5 screws to secure the assembled stand.
