If it is not, you will either have locking difficulties or hear occasional clicks and the advantages of using the Master Clock will be lost. Some non-dCS CD transports, DAB radios and other equipment do not have a Word Clock Input and so CANNOT be locked to a Master Clock. · The clock frequency should match the sample rate(s) used in the system. If it does not, the system cannot lock and the DAC should remain muted. Please check the manuals for the equipment used in your system.
