[. . . ] Use the indoor unit Q at an operating temperature of + 5° C - + 40° C. Higher or lower temperatures can adversely affect operation. If required, a standard 12 V DC door release can be connected to the system. The door release must be operated with 12 V DC and have a max. The mains cable T for this door intercom must only be replaced by the manufacturer or by an authorized specialist. Only use suitable tools for installation (fastening screws and wall plugs are included). Install the outdoor unit so that it is protected from external influences (e. g. Make sure that the device is not exposed to strong static, electric or high frequency fields (static discharge, mobile radiotelephone, radio sets, microwaves). These may have an adverse effect on the function of the door intercom. The packaging material and old appliances should not be thrown away but recycled. Please take packaging materials to a disposal facility in your city or district. When the device has reached the end of its useful life, please likewise take it to an appropriate disposal facility in your city or district. By doing this, you are fulfilling your legal obligations and making an important contribution to protecting the environment.

Caution!· Make sure before connection to the mains power supply that it is 230 V ~ 50 Hz in accordance with regulations. The mains plug should be fitted with a 3 Amp fuse. · Do not cover the indoor unit Q or outdoor unit with any object. This could adversely affect the ring tone and voice transmission functions. · Make sure that the indoor unit Q and the outdoor unit do not come into contact with water. · Protect the indoor unit Q and the outdoor unit from strong magnetic or electric fields and heavy mechanical loads or vibrations.

Handset The receiver W on the indoor unit Q is for speaking into and listening during communication with the outdoor unit. The door release button E is used to switch on a standard 12 V DC door release (not included). The latter can be connected with a twin-core cable (with coded cores, not included). Outdoor unit The bell button r activates the bell on the indoor unit Q. [. . . ] The visitor is standing too far away from the outdoor unit. Ask the visitor to move closer to the outdoor unit. The product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial use.
