The receiver will gather the off-air program info and place it in the Program Guide. Select Done and press EXIT to return to live TV or check the signal level of your off-air channels in the next step. Press SELECT on Initial Setup to populate the list with off-air channels available in your area. Once complete, select Edit Off-Air Channels to edit the list for display. To start over (if this receiver moves with you to a new city). select Reset Settings to clear the list of off-air channels, then repeat the initial setup process. The recorder gets this info from the satellite and stores up to two weeks of program listings at a time. Over the next 24 hours, the recorder will be gathering this data. [. . . ] For a channel that has multiple versions (like channel 2-1, 2-2), the first is usually (but not always) HD and the second is SD. However, there is no hard and fast rule and often off-air HD channels carry mostly SD programs. In some markets, local broadcasters may provide more than two versions of a channel.
