KONTROLL AV HÖGTALARNAS FASNING Du kan kontrollera högtalarnas fasning (polaritet) med hjälp av ett vanligt 1, 5 volts ficklampsbatteri. Anslut en kabel från batteriets plus-pol till högtalarens d:o och en kabel från batteriets minus-pol till högtalarens minus. Om du kopplat högtalarna rätt skall konen nu röra sig åt samma håll (normalt utåt) på både höger och vänster kanal (fungerar ej på midrange och tweeter). Denna kontroll gör du på kablarna som ansluts till högtalarutgångarna på bilstereon eller slutsteget. Har du ett extra passivt högpassfilter inkopplat till baselementet så kan du inte se något utslag på konen, då måste du först koppla bort filtret. The other channel is connected in the same way. The tweeter and mid levels are adjustable in two steps as described below: Tweeter level: High = jumper mounted between pin 2-4. Midrange level: High = jumper mounted between pin 2-4. Jumper J3 is used when you want to run the system without midbass driver. In this case some components inside the filter must be disconnected. If possible reinforce with a baffle of MDF-board or similar. A mounting high up on the door side is to be prefered. An alternative mounting is in kick panels down on the floor on each side with the speakers facing up- and inwards towards the listener. If you run the system without the midbass element connected to the filter you must disconnect it using the jumper inside the filter box .
