[. . . ] Turn it up for more volume and down for less volume. Use the LEVEL control to match the effect volume with the bypass volume. COMPRESS: Controls the amount of compression. [. . . ] When the COMPRESS is turned up, the volume will slightly decrease. So, the QUARTS control will have to be adjusted to compensate for the lost volume. HI EXP: Controls the amount of high frequency expansion. Expansion will increase the high frequency content depending how hard you play. The harder you play, the higher the frequency boost your signal gets. Turn the HI EXP control up for more expansion, and down for no high frequency expansion. ATTACK: Controls the attack time of the compressor. Turn it up for more attack time and down for less. Turn the LEVEL to 12 O' clock, the COMPRESS up, the HI EXP up, and ATTACK down. Brilliant high end without your volume getting out of control, what more could you ask for?
· Unauthorized repair of the FX82 will void the warranty. Should your FX82 require service, contact your DOD FX pedal dealer for return / repair information.
· Use of any AC adapter other than the DOD PS200R will void the warranty of this product.
· If the FX82 fails to switch in or out or the LED indicator stays lit, the battery needs to be replaced.
· Remove the battery whenever the unit is not going to be used for an extended period of time. This will prevent possible damage due to leaking battery fluids.
IMPORTANT NOTES · The FX82 battery is in use whenever the INPUT jack is plugged in. If you are not using the FX82, be sure to unplug the cable from the INPUT jack. This will prevent unnecessary battery drain.
