[. . . ] € This machine should only be used for its intended purpose: ironing. € When unplugging the machine, pull the plug, not the cable. € Make sure that the power cable does not touch any hot surfaces. € Do not use the iron if it is damaged, if it leaks, or if the power cable is damaged. [. . . ] Fill the reservoir with tap or demineralised water 12. Push the reservoir right in to make sure of a firm connection with the appliance. You can fill the reservoir during ironing. Caution : Never ask for steam when there is no more water in the reservoir. Never fill the reservoir with hot water. Never add products containing alcohol or essences (perfume, eau de Cologne, lavender essence…) to the water. Selecting the proper temperature The quality of the pressing depends partly on the quantity of the steam you use and partly on using a suitable heat. Labels on articles to be pressed indicate the correct ironing temperature using the following International ironing Symbols : • Minimum heat •• Medium heat ••• Maximum heat These symbols are marked on the thermostat selector of the machine. - Turn the thermostat to the position corresponding to the fabric to be pressed and to the symbol indicated on the fabric label. , When the thermostat is opposite the sign the board does not heat. GENERATION OF STEAM REPASSAGE After having depressed the main On/Off switch or after plugging in your steam press, the steam generator will be ready to steam after about 3 minutes. Position your garment on the ironing board. Lower the heating plate using the handle. In the half closed steam position will automatically be generated for as long as required. Close the press in order to obtain the automatic pressure. [. . . ] ANTI-SCALE CARTRIDGE The reference number to order anti-scale cartridges for the press SP2150 with EMC is 413 045. The reference number to order anti-scale cartridges for the press SP2050 without EMC is 413 044. The anti-scale cartridges are available in blisterpack from your retailer.
