THERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENT • Adjust the thermostat of the iron according to the type of ironing. € To use steam, adjust the thermostat of the iron within the 2-3 dots range. Never ask for steam when there is no more water in the reservoir Please note • Because of the high steam output rate, there is no need to continually press the steam button. Pressing the button briefly and frequently will enable you to control the quantity of steam, in order to obtain professional results. € If the iron is used intensively, steam may continue to be produced after the steam button has been released and water may appear on the iron holder. There is no risk of the metal being damaged. € Setting B When calling for steam using this setting there will be a high surge of steam that will last for several seconds. It will then stabilize to the normal steam level. To repeat this process, wait for a few seconds to avoid the risk of spotting. SMOOTHING • Your iron can also be used verticaly to smooth out clothes, hangings and curtains. € Move the iron from top to bottom, keeping the steam button pressed. For best results, keep the steamed material tight. € The results vary according to the type of fabric. STORAGE • When you have finished ironing, unplug the power cable and let the machine cool down. You can then store it flat, without having to empty the water container. € If you lie the machine on its side, water from the container may spill out. - 18 - With tap water : Scaling is no longer a problem thanks to the anti-scaling cartridge. Please remember, the grains will progressively change colour and they lose their efficiency. The cartridge needs replacing when the change in colour is on the top.
