Manual abstract: user guide DREMEL 275

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] To check for proper depth of the cut, lay a metal straight edge across the tops of the cutting edges (Figure 8), and check the dimension indicated. This dimension should be approximately equal to the thickness of the gauge (D). If it is not, grind the chain depth gauge until the clearance is approximately equal to the thickness of the sharpening kit gauge. Keep this depth gauge setting uniform on all cutter teeth to make straight cuts. [. . . ] Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock. If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use an earth leakage circuit breaker. Use of an earth leakage circuit breaker reduces the risk of electric shock. For more information on the Dremel assortment, support and hotline, go to www. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control. Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. , in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended for the particular type of power tool, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation. Do not dispose of power tools into household waste!According the European Guideline 2002/96/EC for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and its implementation into national right, power tools that are no longer usable must be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally correct manner. Depending on your particular chain size, make sure you assemble your new sharpener properly as follows: Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any Preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally. When you have determined the correct grinding stone for your chain from the drawing, assemble the attachment by screwing the guide (B) and appropriate number of spacers (C) to the clamp (D) using the two screws (A), as shown in Figure 2. Securely mount the correct grinding stone in your tool with approximately 6 mm of the shank exposed between the chuck cap and the stone (Figure 3). Remove the housing cap and screw on the chain saw sharpening attachment (Figure 4). [. . . ] Please read and understand these instructions and the chain saw manual for complete details for sharpening. Teeth of chain must be sharpened equally and evenly. When attached to a Dremel rotary tool, the chain saw sharpening attachment will sharpen nearly all common sizes of chain if you follow these simple instructions. For proper sharpening the chain tension should be adjusted (as specified in the Chain Saw Owner's Manual). [. . . ]
