[. . . ] When the "narrow" mode is selected, only the first 9 lines of each field will be blanked. Video Out When "normal" is selected, the DPS-290 is in the normal operating mode. Noise Reduction This feature controls the noise reduction circuit. Separate luminance and chrominance noise reduction options are available. Unit Genlock Mode In the internal mode , the DPS-290 will operate on its internal crystal and the front panel GENLOCK LED will be off. In the auto mode, the DPS-290 is genlocked to a stable reference video signal that is applied to the rear panel genlock input. When the DPS-290 is externally genlocked, the front panel GENLOCK LED will be on. If the genlock source disappears, the DPS-290 will switch to internal mode and the GENLOCK LED will flash. Comb Filter In the "on" mode, the NTSC comb filter is enabled, allowing full luminance bandwidth processing, (see specifications). In the "off" mode, the separated Y/C output is filtered by a bandpass filter. Select CAV Output This menu is used to select component output formats, (Betacam, MII or RGB). Select CAV Input This input is used to select the desired component input . The RGB input may only be selected if an RGB option board is installed.
