We think you will ride your Ducati motorcycle for long journeys as well as short daily trips. We are steadily doing our best to improve our "Technical Assistance" service. [. . . ] Coolant level Check coolant level in the expansion reservoir. Tyre condition Check tyre pressure and condition (page 85). Controls Work the brake, clutch, throttle and gear change controls (levers, pedals and twistgrips) and check for proper operation. Lights and indicators Make sure lights, indicators and horn work properly. Key-operated locks Check that fuel filler plug is closed firmly (page 50). Stand Make sure side stand operates smoothly and is in the correct position (page 51). Warning In case of malfunction, do not ride the motorcycle and contact a Ducati Dealer or Authorised Workshop. E 59 Starting the engine Note Follow the "High ambient temperature" procedure to start the engine when it is warm. Warning Before starting the engine, become familiar with the controls you will need to use when riding (see page 10).
